Description: The Winter Trail Challenge is back at Custer State Park and what better way to kick-start your personal new year’s journey. Here is your reason to get out & stay motivated for some fresh air & tree therapy this winter. Join us for a hike up to the Mt. Coolidge Fire Lookout Tower as we complete the first of six trails on the challenge. Note: This is the only trail we will bee doing as a group. We hope you feel empowered to complete the rest of the challenge at your own leisure later on. All attendees will receive a FREE Custer State Park Annual Pass, Stanley Tumbler, backpack and more!
What to Expect:
- This trail is 3.5 miles long – out and back
- The first 1.7 miles are a gradual include to the top
- Beautiful views of the Hills along the trail
- Cold weather and snow
What to Bring:
- All ages are welcome – pets are also allowed with a leash
- Winter clothes and sturdy winter/hiking boots
- Water bottle
- Phone or camera
