The Family Child Care Program offers childcare in a certified home setting by individuals living on or off base. These self-employed providers operate their homes independently in compliance with strict Air Force policies, which include frequent inspections (announced and unannounced) and close monitoring by the Community Child Care Coordinator. Extensive background screenings on the providers and their family members and orientation training must be completed prior to certification. Annual and monthly trainings are required to maintain licensing that surpasses state requirements.
